Jessica Bailey has served two terms as Porter County’s Clerk. During these two terms, she has learned and improved day-to-day operations such as payroll, public records, and clean elections. All of which are done with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Her hard work has not gone unnoticed; the Association of Indiana Counties named her Outstanding County Clerk of the Circuit Court Award (Clerk of the Year) in 2023. Her office also earned a national award for election administration from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, recognizing its commitment to the county and its elections.
“I’m ready to bring servant leadership back to the Indiana Statehouse on behalf of all Hoosiers. As State Comptroller, I will bring the same level of service and efficiency to the office as I do daily as Porter County Clerk.”
Now she’s running for Indiana State Comptroller because Indiana’s money should serve Indiana communities, not the interest and comfort of those in power. She’ll bring that same standard statewide when she wins in November: every dollar accounted for, every payment on time — a clearer Indiana, accountable to no one but Hoosiers.
It is time Hoosier taxes serve those who pay them.
