Beau is a proud 7th-generation Hoosier who was raised to believe public service means actually serving the public, and for him, that meant joining the US Marine Corps. He served as an Infantry officer and rose to the rank of Captain. His military service took him around the world, including to Europe to support America's response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as part of Project Maven, a top-secret intelligence program supporting US intelligence and NATO operations.
Following his honorable discharge in 2023, he earned a law degree. Following graduation, he served as a judicial law clerk in Bloomington for the Honorable David F. Hamilton on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. This experience gave him the knowledge to change the trajectory of the Indiana Secretary of State Office.
As Indiana’s Secretary of State, he will fight corruption and wasteful spending, ensuring Hoosier tax dollars are used fairly and not for political interests. Fair elections are important to defend our democracy, and he vows to support and defend fair elections in Indiana.
